Privacy Policy

Effective date: 26 September 2026Last updated: 26 September 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Ankhway Marketing collects, uses, shares and protects personal information when you browse our directory of AI tools, contact us, or ask about our marketing services. It also explains the choices and rights you have.

In short: you can browse the site without an account, we collect contact details only when you send us a form or write to us, analytics and advertising cookies are used only if you agree to them, and we do not sell personal information.

1. Who we are

Ankhway Marketing is a trade name of M&R MARKETING GROUP, LLC, whose business address is 331 3rd St, Macon, GA 31201-3312, United States. In this policy, "Ankhway Marketing", "we", "us" and "our" mean M&R MARKETING GROUP, LLC operating under that name, and "you" means anyone who visits our website or contacts us.

We decide why and how the personal information described in this policy is processed. This makes us the "controller" of that information where the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) or the UK GDPR applies.

We run an English-language, curated directory of third-party AI tools, and we offer marketing services to AI and software companies. The website has no user accounts or logins, no user comments, reviews or ratings, no newsletter, and no payments or checkout.

For privacy questions, use our contact form (the privacy topic is pre-selected) or write to us at our business address. We aim to reply within two business days (Monday to Friday, excluding US federal holidays).

2. Scope

This policy covers personal information we handle when you:

  • visit any page of our website, including the directory, tool listings, help pages and policy pages;
  • use our contact form;
  • correspond with us after using the contact form, or write to us by post; or
  • ask about our marketing services.

It does not cover the websites of the tool providers we list or link to, which have their own privacy policies, or Google's use of information for its own purposes, which is governed by the Google Privacy Policy. If you become a client of our marketing services, the separate written agreement for that work may also contain terms about information handled during the engagement.

Please read this policy together with our Cookie Policy, which describes cookies and similar technologies in more detail, and our Terms of Service.

3. Personal information we collect

"Personal information" (called "personal data" in some laws) means information that identifies you or can reasonably be linked to you. We aim to collect only what we need.

Information you give us

Contact form. We collect the topic you choose, your name, your email address, your company and website (both optional), the related tool (optional, and pre-filled when you report or claim a listing), and your message. The form also sends the name of the page it was sent from ("contact.html").

Correspondence. We keep the messages and letters we exchange with you. If you ask about our marketing services, this may include information about your company, your goals and the services you are interested in.

Privacy requests. If you exercise a privacy right, we collect the details needed to handle the request and to confirm your identity.

Giving us information is voluntary, but if you leave out information the form requires, we will not be able to reply to you. Please do not include sensitive information, such as health details, government identification numbers or financial account details, in a message.

Information collected automatically

  • Server logs. When your browser requests a page, our hosting provider processes standard log data — your IP address, user agent (which describes your browser and device), the requested URL, the referring page and a timestamp — to deliver the site and keep it secure.
  • Browser storage. The site uses your browser's local storage to remember your light or dark theme choice (ankh_theme) and your cookie choices (ankh_consent).
  • Analytics data, only with consent. If we have enabled Google Analytics 4 and you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics collects information such as the pages you view, how you interact with them, how you arrived at the site, your device and browser type, and your approximate location (such as country or city) inferred from your IP address, linked to identifiers stored in cookies.
  • Advertising data, only with consent. If we have enabled Google Ads conversion tracking and remarketing and you accept advertising cookies, Google collects information such as whether you reached the site by clicking one of our ads and whether you then took an action we measure, such as sending a form, linked to cookie identifiers.
  • Cookieless pings. While you have not given consent, Google tags on the site, if enabled, may send cookieless pings. These do not read or write cookies, and Google uses them for aggregated, modeled measurement.

Information from other sources

  • Public information about tools and their makers. Our editors write listings using publicly available information, such as a provider's website, documentation and pricing pages. If a tool is made by an individual rather than a company, this can include that person's name as the developer.
  • Information from other people. Someone who reports a problem with a listing, or claims a listing, may tell us about a tool or the people behind it.
  • Aggregated reports. If analytics or advertising tools are enabled, Google provides us with reports about how the site and our ads perform. We use these reports to understand overall trends, not to identify individual visitors.

4. How we use personal information

We use personal information to:

  • Run the directory. Our editors write listings mainly from public information about each tool. When you send us a correction or an update about a listing, we use your details to check it, ask follow-up questions, tell you what we have decided, and edit, update or remove the listing.
  • Respond to messages. We answer questions, investigate reports about listings, handle claims from tool providers, deal with copyright concerns under our Copyright & Takedown Policy, and respond to privacy requests.
  • Discuss our marketing services. If you ask about our services, we use your details to reply, understand your needs and prepare a tailored proposal. Services are provided under a separate written proposal or agreement, and we do not take payments through the website.
  • Operate and protect the website. Server logs help our hosting provider deliver pages and detect and prevent abuse. A hidden "honeypot" field on our contact form helps us filter out automated spam.
  • Remember your preferences. Browser storage keeps your theme choice and your cookie choices.
  • Understand how the site is used, with your consent. Google Analytics shows us, in aggregate, which pages are useful and how people find the site, so we can improve it.
  • Measure and deliver our advertising, with your consent. Google Ads conversion tracking shows whether our ads lead to visits and actions on the site, and remarketing lets us show our ads on other websites and apps to people who have visited our site.
  • Meet legal requirements and protect our rights. We use information where needed to comply with the law, respond to lawful requests, enforce our Terms of Service, and establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
  • Handle business changes. We may use information in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization or sale involving our business.

If we want to use personal information for a new purpose that is not compatible with the purpose for which we collected it, we will tell you first and, where the law requires, ask for your consent.

6. Cookies, analytics and advertising

We keep cookies and similar technologies to a minimum. Our Cookie Policy lists each one; the key points are:

  • Only necessary storage by default. Unless you consent to more, the only items the site stores in your browser are the two local storage entries that remember your theme and your cookie choices.
  • Optional tools only with consent. Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads conversion tracking and remarketing are used only if we have enabled them, and they set cookies only after you agree. When they are enabled, our cookie banner offers "Accept all" and "Reject all" with equal prominence, plus "Customize" to choose by category.
  • Google Consent Mode v2. The four consent signals — analytics_storage, ad_storage, ad_user_data and ad_personalization — are set to "denied" for every visitor until you opt in. While they are denied, Google tags may send cookieless pings, which do not read or write cookies and which Google uses for aggregated, modeled measurement.
  • Global Privacy Control. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat it as a rejection of advertising cookies.
  • Change your choice at any time. Use Cookie settings, which is also linked in the site footer. We remember your choices for 12 months and then ask again.
  • No other third-party embeds. Our fonts are self-hosted, so pages do not request Google Fonts. The site has no social media embeds or chat widgets, and no third-party ad networks display ads on it.

7. How we share personal information

We do not sell personal information, and we do not rent or trade it.

We share personal information only with the recipients below, and only as far as needed for the purposes described in this policy:

  • Our hosting provider, which serves the website and processes server logs for security and delivery.
  • Our form-delivery service, which transmits your form submission and forwards it to our internal mailbox. We use Web3Forms by default and may use Formspree instead.
  • Other IT service providers, such as the provider of the email system that holds our internal mailbox, which store and process information on our behalf.
  • Google, for analytics and advertising, only if we have enabled those tools and you consent to the relevant cookies. Without your consent, Google tags may send only cookieless pings, as described above. Google explains how it uses information from sites that use its services.
  • Professional advisers, such as lawyers, accountants, auditors and insurers, where needed for their services and subject to confidentiality.
  • Authorities, such as courts, regulators and law enforcement agencies, when the law requires us to disclose information, or when disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property or safety of any person.
  • Parties to a business transfer, such as a buyer or successor in a merger, acquisition, reorganization or sale of all or part of our business, subject to confidentiality. We will take reasonable steps to ensure the recipient continues to protect the information in line with this policy.

Our hosting provider, form-delivery service and other IT service providers handle personal information to provide their services to us. Google may also use some information for its own purposes, as described in its policies.

8. Information that becomes public

Listings are public. When we publish a tool, anyone can see the listing content: the tool's name, developer, tagline, description, key features, use cases, things to consider, platforms, pricing-model label, category, tags and a "Visit website" link to the provider's site. Our editors write the listing text, drawing on publicly available information and on corrections and updates sent to us. Drafts may be prepared with AI assistance, but a human editor reviews and edits them before anything is published.

We never publish the contact details of people who write to us. Messages sent through the contact form are not published, and we use your name and email address only to handle your message and to communicate with you.

If a tool is offered under an individual's name, that name may appear as the developer on its listing. If you represent a tool, you can claim its listing and request updates. If you are named in a listing and want something corrected or removed, send us a privacy request. We may edit, decline or remove any listing at our discretion; our Editorial Policy explains how we create and maintain listings.

Search engines may index public listing pages, and others may copy them. We can update or remove content on our own site, but we cannot control copies made by third parties.

9. International transfers

We are based in the United States, so your personal information will be processed there. It may also be processed in other countries where our service providers operate, such as countries in the European Union. Data protection laws in those places may differ from the laws where you live.

Where the law requires it — for example, when personal information about people in the EEA or UK is transferred to a country that does not have an adequacy decision — we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission and their UK equivalents. You can contact us for more information about these safeguards.

10. Data retention

We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes described in this policy. The table shows the longest periods we normally keep each type of information; we may delete it sooner.

InformationHow long we keep it
Contact form messages and related correspondence, including inquiries about our servicesUp to 24 months after our last correspondence with you
Analytics data (only if you consented)Up to 14 months
Consent record (your cookie choices, stored in your browser)12 months; after that we ask again
Theme preference (stored in your browser)Until you clear it
Analytics and advertising cookies in your browser (only if you consented)For the durations listed in our Cookie Policy
Server logsKept by our hosting provider under its own retention settings, typically up to 30 days

We may keep specific information longer if the law requires it, or if we reasonably need it to resolve a dispute or to establish, exercise or defend a legal claim — and then only what is needed, for as long as it is needed. When information is no longer needed, we delete it or anonymize it so that it no longer identifies you.

11. Security

We use technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal information against loss, misuse and unauthorized access, disclosure or alteration, appropriate to the limited information we handle. For example:

  • we collect only what we need — the site has no user accounts, so we hold no passwords for it, and we take no payments through it, so we collect no payment card details;
  • we limit access to personal information to people who need it for their work;
  • we use specialized providers for website hosting and form delivery; and
  • we filter automated spam with a hidden honeypot field rather than a CAPTCHA.

No website, transmission or storage system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a security incident affects your personal information, we will take steps to contain it and will notify you and the relevant authorities where the law requires.

12. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • know what personal information we hold about you and get a copy of it;
  • have inaccurate information corrected;
  • have your information deleted;
  • restrict or object to certain uses of it;
  • receive it in a portable format;
  • withdraw consent you have given, including consent to cookies;
  • opt out of the "sharing" of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising; and
  • complain to a data protection authority.

The next two sections explain these rights for visitors in the EEA and UK and under US state laws. Wherever you live, you are welcome to contact us with a question or request about your personal information, and we will handle it in line with the law that applies to you.

Because the site has no accounts, most requests are made through us (see How to exercise your rights). The exception is your cookie choices, which you can change yourself at any time through Cookie settings. Rights can be subject to legal limits and exceptions; if we cannot fully meet a request, we will explain why.

13. Visitors in the EEA and UK

If the GDPR or UK GDPR applies to our processing of your personal information, you have the following rights:

  • Access — to confirm whether we process your personal information and to receive a copy, together with information about how we use it.
  • Rectification — to have inaccurate information corrected and incomplete information completed.
  • Erasure — to have your information deleted, for example when we no longer need it, or when you withdraw consent and no other legal basis applies.
  • Restriction — to have us limit the use of your information, for example while we check its accuracy or consider an objection.
  • Portability — to receive information you gave us in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format, or to have it sent to another organization where technically feasible, when we process it by automated means on the basis of consent or a contract.
  • Objection — to object, on grounds relating to your situation, to processing based on legitimate interests. We will stop unless we have compelling legitimate grounds that override your interests, or we need the information for legal claims. You can object to direct marketing at any time, and we will stop.
  • Withdrawal of consent — to withdraw consent at any time, without affecting processing that took place before. For cookies, use Cookie settings.
  • Complaint — to complain to a supervisory authority, in particular in the EEA country where you live or work or where you believe an infringement occurred. In the UK, the supervisory authority is the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO). We would welcome the chance to address your concern first.

14. US state privacy rights

Some US states, including California, give residents rights over their personal information. Depending on the size and nature of our business, these laws may not apply to us. To the extent the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CCPA/CPRA), or similar state laws apply, this section describes our practices and your rights.

We collect this information for the business and commercial purposes described in How we use personal information and keep it for the periods in Data retention. We may also disclose any category to IT service providers that support our internal systems, professional advisers, authorities or a successor business, as described in How we share personal information. We do not collect precise geolocation, we do not ask for sensitive personal information, and we do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for any purpose that would give you a right to limit it.

No sale; sharing only with your consent

We do not sell personal information. Some of these laws call disclosing personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising "sharing". This happens only if you accept advertising cookies, which lets Google Ads use cookie identifiers and information about your visit for remarketing and conversion measurement. You can opt out at any time by turning advertising cookies off in Cookie settings, or by turning on Global Privacy Control in your browser, which we treat as a rejection of advertising cookies. We have no actual knowledge of selling or sharing the personal information of anyone under 16.

Your rights

  • Right to know and access — the categories of personal information we have collected about you, its sources, our purposes, the categories of recipients, and a copy of the specific pieces we hold.
  • Right to delete — personal information we collected from you, subject to legal exceptions.
  • Right to correct — inaccurate personal information.
  • Right to opt out of sale or sharing — as explained above.

Authorized agents. An authorized agent can make a request for you. We may ask for proof that you gave the agent signed permission, and we may ask you to verify your identity with us directly, unless the law provides otherwise — for example, when the agent holds a valid power of attorney.

No discrimination. We will not treat you differently for exercising your rights — for example, by refusing you access to the site or handling your messages less favorably.

Appeals. If we decline your request, you can appeal by replying to our decision or by writing to us through the contact form with "Appeal" in your message. We will respond within the period your state's law requires and explain the result. If we deny your appeal, you can contact your state's attorney general.

15. How to exercise your rights

To make a request, use our contact form, or write to us at the address in the Contact section and mark your letter "Privacy request". Please tell us which right you want to exercise, the country or US state where you live, and details that help us find your information, such as the name and email address you used, the topic of your message and the approximate date. We aim to acknowledge your request within two business days.

Verifying your identity

We need to confirm that a request comes from you or from someone authorized to act for you. Because the site has no accounts, we usually do this by matching the details you give us with the information we hold — for example, by asking you to confirm the request from the email address you used when you contacted us. We may ask for more information if a request concerns sensitive information or if we cannot otherwise verify it, and we use verification information only for that purpose.

Response times

  • GDPR and UK GDPR requests: we aim to respond within one month of receipt. For complex or numerous requests, the law allows an extension of up to two further months; if we need it, we will tell you within the first month and explain why.
  • US state requests: we aim to respond within 45 days of receipt. Where the law allows, we may extend this once by up to 45 more days, and we will tell you if we do.

Fees

Making a request is usually free. We charge a fee only where the law allows — for example, for manifestly unfounded or excessive requests under the GDPR — and we will tell you about any fee before we proceed.

16. Children's privacy

Our website is intended for a general adult audience and is not directed at children under 16. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live if that is higher, to send us corrections or claims about a listing or to ask for our marketing services.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has given us personal information, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it.

17. Direct marketing

We do not send newsletters, and there is no mailing list to join.

If you ask about our marketing services, we may contact you to follow up on that request only — for example, to answer your questions or to send the proposal you asked for. We will not add you to a marketing list or send you unrelated promotional messages.

You can ask us at any time, free of charge, to stop contacting you about our services, through the contact form or by post, and we will stop.

We will not use your personal information in direct marketing without your consent, and we do not provide personal information to others for use in direct marketing.

18. Third-party websites

Each listing has a "Visit website" link that opens the provider's site in a new tab, and some pages link to other external sites, such as Google's policy pages. When you follow a link, the other site may be able to tell that you came from our website.

We do not control other websites, and this policy does not apply to them. Their owners may collect information about you under their own privacy and cookie policies, which we encourage you to read. A listing in our directory is not a statement about a provider's privacy practices. See also our Disclaimer.

19. Automated decision-making

We do not make decisions about you based solely on automated processing that produce legal or similarly significant effects. The only automated filtering we use is basic spam protection: our contact form includes a hidden honeypot field that people do not see, and entries that fill it in are treated as spam.

Decisions about listings, and about the requests you send us, are made by people. Although listing drafts may be prepared with AI assistance, a human editor reviews and edits them before publishing.

If you accept advertising cookies, Google may use information about your visit to choose which ads to show you on other websites and apps. You can turn this off at any time through Cookie settings, and you can manage your ad preferences in Google's ad settings.

20. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time, for example if we change how the website works, switch service providers, or need to reflect changes in the law. We will publish the updated version on this page and change the date shown at the top.

If we make significant changes, we will make them clear on this page. If a change requires your consent — for example, a new type of cookie — we will ask for it before the change applies to you.

21. Contact

For questions about this Privacy Policy or to exercise your rights, use our contact form with the privacy topic selected, or write to us by post. We aim to reply within two business days (Monday to Friday, excluding US federal holidays).
